This healthier option is even tastier than traditional challah!

Dissolve yeast with 1 cup water and 1 tablespoon sugar.
sift approximately 1/3 of the bag of flour into your mixer bowl.
Add oil, eggs and remaining water.
Add yeast mixture and knead 5 Minutes.
Add remaining flour and salt.
Knead an additional 5 Minutes.
Remove from mixer bowl and let dough rise 60 Minutes.
Take challah.
Divide dough as desired. Braid each portion and place in greased challah pans.
Allow to rise an additional 30 Minutes.
Brush with egg wash and sprinkle with seeds, if using.
Place challahs in a cold oven.
Turn oven to 375 degrees and bake for 45 Minutes.
Remove from oven and remove from challah from pans.
Cool on wire rack.
