Classic Italian flavor makes this salad delicious!

1 lb pasta shells, bowties or other medium shape
½ cup extra virgin olive oil
12-15 basil leaves, washed, checked and chopped or 4 frozen basil cubes
1 cup sun dried or oven roasted tomatoes or fresh grape tomatoes
1 cup pine nuts (pignolia)
2 garlic cloves
Kosher salt to taste
2 ripe Haas avocados

Bring 5 quarts of water to boil in a large pot.

Add pasta and cook 10 Minutes. Drain well and toss with olive oil.

Add basil, tomatoes, garlic and pine nuts. Season to taste with salt. (Salad can be prepared in advance up to this point.)

Add avocado just before serving. Toss to combine. Serve warm or at room temperature.
