This recipe is a great way to try silan if you are hesitant about trying new ingredients. It is not very overwhelming but gives the chicken depth of flavor

½ cup silan
2 tbsp soy sauce
2 cloves garlic, crushed
2 tsp lemon juice
4 chicken legs
1
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
2
Combine the silan, soy sauce, garlic and lemon juice.
3
Place the chicken thighs in a pan and pour the silan mixture evenly over the chicken. Bake for about 45 Minutes, until the skin is crispy and juices run clear when the chicken is pricked with a fork.
Ingredients
½ cup silan
2 tbsp soy sauce
2 cloves garlic, crushed
2 tsp lemon juice
4 chicken legs

What is making this red? Tomato paste? There is nothing red in the recipe.
It seems to be the lighting. The chicken darkens while cooking because of the silan.
Can I make this recipe with skinless boneless chicken breasts?
Yes, but reduce cooking time to 15-18 minutes.
