Vanilla Pound Cake

 1 cup Butter, room temperature
 3 cups Granulated Sugar
 12 oz Cream Cheese (1 1/2 packages), at room temperature
 3 cups Flour
 6 Eggs
 1 tbsp Vanilla Extract

Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Grease and flour a 10" tube pan or a 12 cup bundt pan.

In your mixer bowl, cream butter and sugar until smooth. Beat in cream cheese. Stir in vanilla. Add flour, alternating with the eggs, beginning and ending with flour.

Pour batter into prepared pan. Bake for about 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 Hours, until a cake tester comes out clean when inserted in the center.

Let cool in pan for 10 Minutes, and then remove to a rack to cool completely. Slice and serve with a dollop of whipped cream and some fresh fruit.
